Sam Cuong Electric and Telecom Materials Corporation (Sametel) was established according to business license number 4703000342 by Department of Planning and Investment in Dong Nai Province, issued in October 20, 2006. Formerly, Sametel  is a subsidiary of SACOM group (public listed on HoChiMinh City Stock Exchange: SAM) and independently put into operation to strengthen electric and telecom material business sector.

Right after establishment, with 25B VND charter capital, all employee and managers of the company had setup 13000 sqm factory site in Long Thanh industrial zone. Despite tough competition environment, Sametel has earned value and strong relationships with customers and partners - including giant group such as VNPT, FPT, Viettel, SPT, SACOM.

Since 2006, Sametel has a fast-track in development and always ensure investor's benefits. Even in the economic crisis, Sametel still has the ability to secure a 2-digit dividend. Furthermore, Sametel  would continue to set up new enterprise site and acquire more manufacturing chain to meet customer demand in 2010 and the following years. New projects are being built to put composite factory into operation as market demand is rising.
